QUIETPUCK® Lowers Factory Noise Level

A quieter factory floor reduces stress and improves workers’ ability to communicate, creating happier and more productive employees. This level of factory operation can be achieved through the use of a QUIETPUCK®, which reduces decibel levels within automated filling lines using carrier handling systems, known as pucks.

Advantage Puck developed the QUIETPUCK® by coupling energy-absorbing material and bumpers with Advantage Puck’s established and reliable standard puck design. The result is a noise reduction of up to 10 times the dBA level which is emitted when standard pucks collide at the end of filling lines.

Pucks are used by many companies to increase throughput, eliminate changeover time and cost, shorten time to market, and increase production capabilities. With the QUIETPUCK®, manufacturers can enjoy all of the productivity gains which pucks deliver and multiply those with the benefits of a quieter workplace with reduced stress levels.

“When pucks are returned to the line, plastic meets plastic and makes a sound. Multiply that by numerous pucks and manufacturing equipment and you have a noisy manufacturing floor.”
